Journal Club
Message to Faculty, Fellows & Residents:
This is a reminder the next Journal Club is scheduled on Tuesday, April 18th, 2017 from 6:00pm-7:30pm in Rm EN1 429/430. Toronto General Hospital, 1st Floor Eaton Wing.
The theme focuses on our Residents’ Poloquin/CSO Presentations and/or Research Rotations. Faculty and Research supervisors are requested to be in attendance to provide a forum for scholarly analysis and critique.
The April Journal Club sessions aims to achieve two goals; to assist in the preparation for the residents presenting at the CSO Resident Research Competition, and to provide guidance to the incoming PGY2’s in advance of their research block. The current PGY2 residents will also give an update on their research from this year.
The Journal Club structure will be as follows:
1. Feedback to the residents presenting at the CSO Resident Research Competition - 15 min each (7 min presentation, 8 min feedback).
2. Progress report from the PGY2s – 5 min each
3. Proposal of new projects by the PGY1s – 5 min each
